How to Add Clip Art in Word
Microsoft Office Word contains a wide selection of clip art that you can insert into your document. This article will show you how to add clip art to your Word document.
First, open your Word document and click on the “Insert” tab. Then, click on the “Clip Art” button.
A new window will open, showing a variety ofclip art images. You can search for a specific image by typing a keyword into the search box, or you can browse through the images by clicking on the categories.
Once you find an image that you want to insert, click on it and then click on the “Insert” button. The image will be inserted into your Word document.
How to Find Clip Art
Clip art is a great way to add some extra flair to your Microsoft Word documents. But before you can use any clip art, you need to know how to find it.
To find clip art:
1. Open Microsoft Word.
2. Click on the “Insert” tab.
3. In the “Illustrations” group, click on “Clip Art”.
4. Type in a keyword or phrase to search for the clip art you want, then press “Enter”.

How to Insert Clip Art
Although Microsoft Word no longer comes with MS Office Suite, you can still insert clip art in Word by following a few simple steps:
1. Start by opening a new or existing document in Microsoft Word.
2. Select the “Insert” tab from the ribbon at the top of the window.
3. In the “Illustrations” section of the “Insert” tab, click on the “Clip Art” button.
4. A dialogue box will appear. In the “Search for” field, type in a keyword or phrase related to what kind of clip art you want to insert into your document (e.g., flowers, dog, cat, etc.).
5. Select the clip art image that you want to insert and then click on the “Insert” button. The image will be inserted into your document at your current cursor location.
How to Resize Clip Art
Resizing your image is as easy as clicking and dragging one of the corner resizing handles. To maintain the original proportions of your image as you resize, hold down the Shift key as you click and drag a corner resizing handle.
How to Crop Clip Art
To crop clip art, first open the Microsoft Word document. Click on the “Insert” tab, then click “Picture.” Find the desired image file on your computer, then click “Insert.” The image will appear in your document.
Next, click on the image to select it. An “Image Tools” tab will appear at the top of the screen. Click on this tab, then click “Crop.” Drag the black triangles that appear around the image to crop it to the desired size and shape. Finally, click “Enter” to confirm the changes.
How to Rotate Clip Art
Clip art can be a great way to add visual interest to your documents, but sometimes you need to rotate it to get just the right angle. Here’s how to do that in Word.
First, click on the clip art image that you want to rotate. This will select the image.
Next, click on the “Format” tab at the top of the screen.
In the “Format” tab, click on the “Shape Effects” icon (it looks like a sun). A drop-down menu will appear.
Click on “Rotate.” A submenu will appear with different rotation options.
Click on the rotation option that you want. Your clip art will rotate accordingly.
How to Flip Clip Art
There are two ways to mirror or flip clip art in Microsoft Word. The first option is found in the Rotate tool exclusively for clip art. With this tool, you can select the degree to which you want to rotate your image clockwise or counterclockwise. The second way to mirror or flip your image is through the Format Picture tab, which gives you additional options for formatting, including flipping your image horizontally or vertically.
How to Change the Color of Clip Art
If you want to change the color of your clip art, you have a few different options. The first is to select your image, then click on the “Format” tab. From here, you can choose “Color” and then select from a drop-down menu of preset colors, or click “More Colors” to access even more options.
Another way to change the color of your clip art is to right-click on the image, then select “Format Picture.” Again, you can choose from a number of preset colors or click “More Colors” for even more options.
You can also use the “Recolor” tool to change the color of your clip art. To do this, select your image, then click on the “Format” tab. From here, click on “Recolor,” and then choose from one of the presets or create your own custom color by clicking on “More Variations.”
How to Add a Border to Clip Art
To add a border to your clip art, simply follow these steps:
1.Open the Microsoft Word document that you want to add the clip art border to.
2.Click on the “Insert” tab on the Ribbon.
3.Click on “Shapes” in the Illustrations group.
4.Click on the shape that you want to use for your border.
5.Click and drag your mouse to draw the shape onto your document.
6.Click on the “Format” tab on the Ribbon.
7.Click on “Shape Outline” in the Shape Styles group.
8.Click on the color that you want to use for your border.
How to Save Clip Art
If you want to add clip art to your Word document, you can do so by inserting it from the Microsoft Office website. First, go to the Insert tab and click Online Pictures. Then, type “Clip Art” into the search bar and hit Enter.
Scroll through the results or use the filters to find the perfect image. When you find an image you like, click on it to insert it into your document.
If you want to save the image to use again later, right-click on it and select Save As.
